Three key moments characterized the presentation of Ciclistica Mobilieri Ponsacco and the 2026 program. First, the gathering and photo session in Piazza Valli in front of Town Hall with the mayors of Ponsacco Gabriele Gasperini and Crespina Lorenzana David Bacci, then the blessing by Don Armando in Piazza San Giovanni, and finally the dinner at Enoteca Le Melorie.

The tireless president Franco Fagnani, along with some of his collaborators, friends and sponsors, hosted the event. In 2026, under the guidance of sports director Aleandro Gesi and his assistant David Mancini, seven juniors will compete with two returning riders, Massimo Biancalani and Alessandro Garosi, and five newcomers, Diego Donofrio, Mattia Ricci, Nicolò Bertelloni, Gabriele Quilico, and Flavio Nencioni. An interesting squad featuring young riders who have made their mark in the youth category. Another novelty is the new jersey featuring the return to Mobilieri's historic colors: red and blue.

President Franco Fagnani, a symbol of continuity, has once again prepared an intense organizational program for the current year. In May, a youth race in Ponsacco; from May 31st to June 2nd, the Giro dei Tre Comuni, a stage race for youth riders with headquarters at Oasi del Verde in Cenaia and the valuable collaboration of the Crespina Lorenzana municipal administration. On July 28th, the track-style race in Parlascio, and finally on October 13th, the 74th Coppa del Mobilio with the essential support of the Municipality of Ponsacco, whose mayor Gasperini has confirmed his commitment and backing for both the team and the national race for elite and under-23 riders. Finally, there is the effort to establish a youth development program thanks to the cycling school named after Silvano Marchetti, a former manager and supporter of the team. Currently there are two youth riders, but President Fagnani wants to win this challenge and return to having a roster of registered members as in the past, in keeping with the history and cycling tradition of Ponsacco.
