In what can be defined as the "Casa Bartali" at the Cycling Museum in Ponte a Ema, the official presentation for the 2026 season of one of the strongest and most ambitious junior teams in the national field, that of Vangi Tommasini-Il Pirata.
Sixteen athletes, with one Spanish rider and 15 Italians from various regions. In them the desire to joke but ready to take to the road, to give their all, to become protagonists pursuing their dream. Owner Fabrizio Vangi, team manager and honorary president this year (the actual one is Franco Barbetta), happy and enthusiastic about his team, recalled that this year the company celebrates its first 30 years in cycling with many successes including the two junior World Championships won by Diego Ulissi in 2006 and 2007, and first place in the last national points ranking of the category.
Sports director and sports manager Matteo Berti, the backbone of the team, which is ready to face another season as a protagonist in Italy and with trips to France, Spain and Belgium among national and international races. The partnership with UAE, the world's top cycling team, has been signed and the objectives for 2026 have been defined, namely to confirm themselves at the highest levels or try to do even better thanks to the work of everyone with enthusiasm and experience.
