The Monday, April 6th, 2026 edition will be another high-level event for the Giro del Belvedere. Among the 35 teams starting in Villa di Cordignano (TV), there are 24 Continental teams, including 6 World Tour Development teams. For the first time, there are 20 international teams (from 16 countries), alongside 15 Italian teams, all united by a single goal: to showcase themselves in the Easter Monday Classic.

The Giro Belvedere is a race that can change a career, opening the doors to professional cycling. The nickname "Spring World Championship" didn't come by chance, and the crown won last year by Italian Lorenzo Finn (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) - breaking a 6-year Italian victory drought - is coveted by all top teams. While the German squad inevitably aims for a repeat, competitors are certainly not lacking, starting with other World Tour youth teams. These include UAE, winner in 2024 with Gal Glivar, Visma | Lease a Bike, who lifted the trophy in 2023 with Staune-Mittet, as well as Bahrain Victorious, Hagens Berman Jayco, XDS Astana, and the newcomer Decathlon CMA-CGM.

Another significant novelty is the Tudor U23, which will try to challenge the World Tour squads along with other well-known names on the Treviso roads, such as Pogi Team Gusto Ljubljana, UC Monaco, or the Tirol KTM Cycling Team, fresh from last year's third place. Many returns are also expected among Italian teams, who will always try to challenge foreign teams. Among the best Italian prospects are the Continental teams Biesse Carrera Premac, General Store - Essegibi - F.lli Curia, Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna, and UC Trevigiani – Energiapura Marchiol.

To win the 87th edition of the Easter Monday Classic, riders will have to tame the 168 Km route with over 2000 meters of positive elevation gain, confirmed after the great spectacle of recent editions. The start includes 8 initial laps on the iconic Conche route, followed by 5 passages on the Piai della Vigna climb (500 meters at 9% with a peak at 15%), before entering the final circuit characterized by the Montaner climb (1.5 Km at 12%) and Via delle Longhe (500 meters at 12% with a peak at 17%).
