The 56th edition of the Etoile de Bessèges - Tour du Gard 2026 concludes in the name of Ewen Costiou. The French rider from Groupama - FDJ United won the short final time trial in Alès, covering the 10.3 kilometers of the route to the Hermitage site in 14'57" at an average speed of 41.3 km/h, a performance that allowed him to beat his teammate Maxime Decomble, who finished second at 5", and Paul Lapeira (Decathlon CMA CGM Team), who came in third at 6".
With this performance, the 2002-born rider from Brest also secured the overall classification victory, ultimately finishing ahead of Lapeira and Decomble, who placed second and third respectively, 2" and 12" behind the day's winner.
