The European cyclocross champion won the Gran Premio Sven Nys, a classic early-season race held this morning in Baal, Belgium, valid for the Challenge X2O Trofee Badkamers. The Friulian rider from Team Cingolani Specialized dominated the race, crossing the finish line 21 seconds ahead of Van Lee and 49 seconds ahead of Vanden Eynde, thus inaugurating 2026 in the best possible way. Tommaso Cingolani also performed well, finishing in eighth place, while Ivan Colombo came in fifteenth.
