In the magnificent setting of Polpenazze, on Lake Garda, the Bottenago winery hosted the traditional ADISPRO conference that annually brings together professional cycling technicians, under the direction of its president Davide Goetz and with the participation of FCI President Cordiano Dagnoni and Cycling League President Roberto Pella.
The most significant moment of the meeting was the intervention of the national athletics coach Antonio La Torre, who was able to highlight how the care, in particular, of the motivational aspect of the athlete was the key to both building team value in an individually-based sport and as a winning trend reversal in the mentality of the entire group.
The presence of the top cycling executives allowed for discussion on the most urgent issues to improve the current level of competitiveness, and in particular, the need to strengthen the voice of our movement at the international level to protect our sporting heritage.
The golden helm for career merits was awarded to Roberto Amadio: President Goetz emphasized that the voting had already taken place before Amadio's recent appointment as national professional coach, further underlining the full merit of this award.
