From today until November 28th, Desiree is participating in Red in Progress. Salone del Mobile.Milano meets Riyadh, the event that brings Italian design excellence to Saudi Arabia.
Within the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the Giò Forma architecture studio has created an immersive installation where the Salon's red becomes a language, connection, and shared identity between products, places, and people.
On this international stage, Desiree presents some of its most representative seating: the Kara armchair (designed by Marc Sadler), the Lacoon armchair (designed by Jai Jalan) and, within the Business Lounge designed by Lissoni & Partners, two Rito armchairs (designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez) accompanied by Stum side tables (designed by Setsu & Shinobu Ito). A coherent narrative of comfort, balance, and material research, values that have always defined the brand's identity. Being part of a project that brings different cultures, skills, and sensitivities into dialogue is a source of pride and a natural step in the brand's internationalization path. Desiree speaks a transversal language that unites design and innovation, values perfectly in line with the Salon's vision and the architectural and cultural transformation reshaping Saudi Arabia.
Participation in Red in Progress anticipates the first edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano in Saudi Arabia planned for 2026, which will establish a stable dialogue between Made in Italy and the new global design economies.
