The Giro del Veneto, scheduled from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 September, will not take place: the decision was made by the Sports Events Organization after its president Adriano Zambon was hospitalized. Following the success of the hundredth edition of the Astico-Brenta celebrated yesterday, the dynamic Veneto manager has experienced health problems and without him - his collaborators report - it is impossible to imagine the regular running of a challenging race like the 33rd Giro del Veneto.

Clearly, the most important thing now is the complete recovery of Adriano Zambon, to whom we wish a speedy recovery, but it is important to say that the race could be rescheduled around mid-October: we will know more in the coming days.
