After the second and final rest day, the Vuelta España restarts with a new stage that promises excitement: departing from Poio to reach Mos. Castro de Herville after 167.9 kilometers.

This is essentially the same stage that in 2021 provided thrills with Clement Champoussin's final victory and Primoz Roglic comfortably controlling the red jersey, which he would definitively celebrate the next day.
Along the route, riders will have to overcome four climbs that award points for the Mountain Classification and a decidedly undulating terrain, particularly in the second part of the stage - with a total of 3,475 meters of elevation gain - which could make controlling a potential breakaway complicated.
