
21-year-old Luxembourger Mathieu Kockelmann won the Montagnat / Val-Suran fourth stage of the Tour de L'Avenir. At the end of the 110 kilometers scheduled, the rider from Schouweiler, European time trial champion in 2022 among Juniors and already winner of the national U23 championship this year, left behind Mexican Cesar Macias and Anže Ravbar, a 20-year-old Slovenian native of Novo Mesto racing with UAE Team Emirates Gen Z. Alessandro Borgo, the best Italian in the finishing order, crossed the finish line in 19th position.
