The first race of an international cycling week in Tuscany will be the 47th Industry & Crafts Grand Prix of Larciano, scheduled for Sunday, September 7th. After Larciano, there will be the Giro della Toscana in Pontedera on Wednesday, September 10th, and then the Giuseppe Sabatini Cup-City of Peccioli Grand Prix on Thursday in the same location.
The Larciano race has always been an important moment for cycling enthusiasts and is included in the prestigious UCI ProSeries calendar. With the organization managed by the Larciano Cycling Union chaired by Gabriele Varignani, the Industry & Crafts Grand Prix, as always sponsored by the Tuscany Region, the Province of Pistoia, and the Municipality of Larciano, will see numerous WorldTour and Professional teams at the start, in addition to Continental teams.
The route will follow the traditional hilly circuit, with the inevitable passage through San Baronto, historically a strategic point for decisive attacks that make the race spectacular and unpredictable. The 2024 edition saw the victory of Swiss rider Marc Hirschi, followed by Uruguayan Guillermo Thomas Silva and Italian Diego Ulissi. The participation will be important and significant for the next edition, for which we will soon know the definitive route that could reserve some surprises.
