At the Chamber of Commerce in Varese, in the center of the garden city, the Carnaghese Cycling Society presented the first of two events it will offer in the year 2025. Kicking off the organizational activities will be Sunday, July 6th in Solbiate Arno, the 28th edition of the Gran Prix of the Arno - Silver Cup of the Municipality of Solbiate Arno, a national race for the Junior category which in the past has twice been the sole Italian Championship trial, a competition scheduled over a distance of 129 kilometers, equivalent to eleven laps of the Arno Circuit, valid as a trial for the Gran Prix Baron F.W.R. This will be the first time in the role of president for Emilio Bea, who succeeded Adriano Zanzi at the top of the society: "With the Gran Prix of the Arno, my adventure at the helm of the Carnaghese Cycling Society officially begins - stated Emilio Bea - A tough but stimulating commitment, in which I will put desire and energy, because the standard of this society is high and in these years of membership I have learned what it means to organize a cycling race of this level".

The society of the winner will be awarded the Riganti s.p.a Trophy, the first classified will receive the Silver Cup of the Municipality of Solbiate Arno, the sports director of the winner will receive the plaque in memory of Luigi Benati, while the Mountain Grand Prix is dedicated to the memory of Rino Colombo.

THE ROUTE. Start at 2 PM. The kilometers to be covered will be 129.800, equivalent to eleven laps of the circuit passing through Solbiate Arno, Caronno Varesino, Stribiana locality, Carnago, Monte, Oggiona, Solbiate Arno (sports field), Solbiate Arno center (mountain grand prix) and Aldo Moro Square, start and finish location.
