The winner of the City of Cortona-Val di Perle Trophy is Japanese. Koshi Narita from the Japan Cycling Federation claimed victory, finishing ahead of Tuscan Ballerini and Emilian Fabbri, a duo from Team Vangi Il Pirata, one of the strongest teams in the junior category and among the main favorites in the race held on May 1st. The race was conducted at over 40 km/h and was decided by a breakaway of five riders, with the top three in the final standings plus Cisneros and Cianti.
