Cartigliano turns the spotlight on youth women's cycling with the first edition of the Pink Day, scheduled for Sunday, June 1st, 2025. The event, organized by the Municipality of Cartigliano with technical collaboration from Venturo society, enjoys the patronage of the Veneto Regional Council and the Province of Vicenza.

Approximately 300 athletes from the Juniors, Cadets, and Beginners categories will compete in three separate races on a city circuit measuring 7.5 kilometers and developing within the municipal territory of Cartigliano. The morning is dedicated to Juniors, while the afternoon will host races for Beginners and Cadets. The organizers have added some spice to the Juniors' route finale: after completing nine laps of the circuit, they will face a deviation into the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa, climbing the steep slope of Contrà Soarda (the same faced by professionals in the Veneto Classic) before returning to the finish line, located in front of the historic Villa Morosini Cappello.

The villa will serve as the event's headquarters. In the front park, a bike park will be set up with a cycling skills course for children, offering them the opportunity to approach the world of cycling in a safe and fun environment.

Adding to the interest of Cartigliano's Pink Day will be the assignment of provincial champion titles for the three categories and the regional title for Juniors. Moreover, the Cartigliano Pink Day will serve as the second test of the Triveneto Championship for Beginners and Cadets.

This event is not just competition, but an opportunity to strengthen the bond between sport and territory, promoting women's sports, which in the province of Vicenza has been expressing a very vibrant movement for years.
