The countdown has begun for the presentation ceremony of the Prestigious Gold Alè, which will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, starting at 8 PM, inside the famous Bevilacqua Castle, in the province of Verona.

A highly anticipated event reserved for riders in the Amateurs and Juniors categories and their sports directors, celebrating its 30th edition. The event will be valid for the 26th Sports Directors Grand Prix Feltre Traslochi, the 21st Antonella Club 88 Knitwear, and WindTex.

An event prepared at the start of the season and featuring various road appointments, conceived by the mythical creator and organizer Agostino Contin, who has curated it since its inception in the distant autumn of 1984.

The presentation of the 30th edition of the Prestigious Gold Alè, realized with the collaboration of a group of close friends, will be an opportunity to honor Dr. Lucio Cordioli, a doctor and great friend of cycling for 50 years.

Contin himself announced this with great joy, specifying: "Lucio Cordioli, with over 50 years of medical activity, is affectionately known as 'El Dotor' and has been wearing the white coat for over half a century. Despite being retired for over six years, he still visits patients in his clinic, meeting them, greeting them, providing consultations and various visits. Cordioli, married to Rosaria since 1975, has five children: four have pursued the medical profession, passionately honoring the 'Cordioli family name', while his daughter became a kindergarten teacher".

"Besides his medical profession, he dedicates his demanding day to politics, having been Vice Mayor of Villafranca and currently being the Group Leader in the Municipal Council - continued Agostino Contin. Among his greatest passions is cycling, having been a sports doctor for many cycling champions, and to name a few, I remember Marco Toffali, Nicola Minali, Eros Poli, Massimo and Giovanni Strazzer, and the late Davide Rebellin. The riders he currently follows are Luca Mozzato, Edoardo Affini, and Filippo Zana".

The ceremony, which will be enlivened by musical pieces from the band "I Rodigini" and hosted by Mario Poli, a journalist from "Telenuovo", will see the presence of Stefano Rizzato, who will receive the "WindTex Sympathy Award", Giada Borgato, Rai Sport commentator, Silvio Martinello, former Olympic and world champion, Massimo Ghirotto, former professional and president of the Off-Road Technical Structure, Nazzareno Berto, former professional, and Prof. Giuseppe Degani, creator and supporter of the Journalists and Professional Cyclists Ride.

The participation of Alessia Piccolo, General Director of APG-Alè Brand is expected; Maurizio Arzenton, Vice Mayor of Bevilacqua; the Presidents of the Veneto and Lombardy Cycling Federations, Mario Guerretta and Stefano Pedrinazzi, and those of Mantua and Verona Provinces, Fausto Armanini and Diego Zoccatelli.
