The second season of Team ECOTEK started with a placement at the Tecnomeccanica Trophy and a good collective performance. The Brescia junior team, led by former professional Marco Zanotti, secured a fifth place in the Volta Mantovana race with Mattia Arnoldi.
The Team ECOTEK rider, in his debut race in the category, also became the best first-year athlete in the Mantua event: the only 2008 class rider in the Top Ten.
"It was a very tough race," Mattia Arnoldi said at the end of the event. "As a first-year rider, with this condition, I didn't expect to be able to place, but I have to change my mind because it went really well. I was the best among the first-year riders, and I'm truly happy. For us at Ecotek, this was our first race together, and I must say there was great collaboration. Now I'm already thinking about the next commitment - on Sunday the 9th, I'll race in Prevalle (BS)."
A double commitment for Team ECOTEK, which also took part in the G.P. Giuliano Baronti. In the Tuscan away trip, the Brescia team, with Sergio Gozio in the team car, also had to deal with some bad luck.
