The Cycling Federation is backtracking on the controversial and heavily criticized rule regarding Media Operators. In a statement issued this afternoon, the Federation informs the Regional Committees, Regional CRDCS Managers, Technical Structure, and Cycling League that, as a partial modification of previous provisions, it is necessary to suspend the mandatory registration for Media Operators (OMP) during international races held on Italian territory.

Regarding national and regional races - the statement concludes - the Federal Council reserves the right to review the original plan.
