2025 will be, as always, a year packed with commitments for Sport Club Mobili Lissone under the new president Alessandro Rolandi. For the society from the "furniture capital", the organizational highlight is the Coppa Ugo Agostoni-Giro delle Brianze, a race in the Lombardy Region Trilogy. The professional classic dedicated to cycling pioneer Ugo Agostoni will take place on Sunday, October 5th with start and finish in Lissone, in the Province of Monza Brianza. Following tradition, the "Agostoni" will largely wind through Lecco province. The program for the classic dedicated to Lissone's winner of the 1914 Milano-Sanremo will be illustrated in summer. It's already certain that the preliminary departure site for the Agostoni will be Cleaf in via Bottego, Lissone, a panel manufacturer for furniture. Since 2013, the Caspani family's company has hosted the team presentation for the Coppa Agostoni, which then concludes in the city center. The Coppa Agostoni has an exceptional honor roll and over the years has contributed to giving international recognition to Lissone. Clearly, Sport Club Mobili Lissone deserves praise for all the other events it annually organizes. Aggregation, youth development, and territory promotion are important components of the club's philosophy.
Indeed, this year there will also be the Agostoni Gravel Bicimania: scheduled for March 30th, reserved for adult amateurs. The event will take place on a mixed asphalt/dirt route, and the modern and spacious "Bicimania" store in Lissone will serve as the start and finish village: "French-style" departure at 9 am.
Patron Alessandro Rolandi, vice-president Luca Petrillo, Silvano Lissoni, and other members and supporters of Sport Club Mobili Lissone have been working for years to support the "Young Riders" categories. The "Mobili" will organize on Sunday, April 13th, the 3rd Romano Erba Memorial for Young Riders with headquarters at the Municipal Library of Lissone and races starting at 3 pm. With the April 13th event, the white-blue society will remember its most historic president: Romano Erba was for years a formidable driving force for the Lissone club.
Also for Young Riders, in the evening hours of Friday, September 12th, there will be the second Fire Minisprint. The "Mobili" staff will design the race section near the Fire Department barracks in Lissone.
"Waiting for the Coppa Agostoni" on Sunday, September 21st will be an open ride for everyone, with any type of bicycle. It will be part of the "Sport & Sport" series of events by the Lissone Municipality, with which Alessandro Rolandi's society has excellent relations. Meeting point, departure route of about 4500 meters, and other aspects will be agreed upon with the Municipal Administration.
Then there will be the countdown to the professional Agostoni, which last October was won by Marc Hirschi, who was the protagonist of a sparkling end of season. Regarding competitive forces, these days the Sport Club Mobili managers are completing the Young Riders roster.
