WIGGINS. BANKRUPTCY, DESPERATION AND LANCE ARMSTRONG'S HELPING HAND

His house in England, his other house in Mallorca, his investments, his savings. Not a single penny left" - said Wiggins' lawyer, Alan Sellers, two weeks after the Lancaster County Court ruling - "It's extremely sad, I don't even know where he slept last night or where he'll sleep tonight and what his new address will be". With a debt of over 2.4 million euros, according to the British press, Wiggins would have lived in various places, including the house of his ex-wife Catherine, from whom he separated in 2020. The media also said that Wiggins' assets, once estimated at more than 15 million euros, are now completely gone and that after bankruptcy he would have considered selling his Olympic medals, eight in total, five of which are gold. Fortunately, today the situation would be recovering, also thanks to Lance Armstrong's help, to the point that the Briton said on The High Performance Podcast that the best part of his life is yet to come. "I've spent the last five years sorting out my head. I think my best years are still ahead. After stopping cycling, I wallowed in self-pity, drank until late at night because my worries had influenced my way of being". Wiggins is slowly re-emerging and has admitted to being helped by former American cyclist Armstrong, who had also helped Jan Ullrich overcome his alcoholism. "I'm happy to be alive. Lance has helped me a lot over these years and even more so during this last period. He wants to pay for me to go to a specialized center in Atlanta, where in a few weeks they can set you straight. He's a good man. Obviously, I don't want to erase what he did, but I think what he's going through is a bit disproportionate". Now without a home, Bradley Wiggins has retraced his troubled past, first with his alcoholic father, an ex-cyclist, and his difficult relationship with the bike and that world that has betrayed him multiple times. "I adopted a 'rock and roll' style with alcohol. When I was about 13, I was sexually abused by a coach and I never completely got over it. I was very alone. I wanted to get out of that environment and I was a rather strange teenager in many ways. My attitude on the bike also comes from this". However, Wiggins has decided to re-emerge and, although the road is long, he intends to get back on track and try to recover his relationship with the bike.
a me questi personaggi che sperperano 15 milioni di euro non fanno assolutamente pena. Dovrebbero far molto piu' notizia le persone che riescono a campare con una famaglia con 1300 euro al mese. VERGOGNA.

Eh...ma quelli che vivono con 1300 € al mese non fanno gossip e soprattutto non interessano a nessuno nemmeno a chi è nelle stesse condizioni,meglio leggere le notizie dei VIP o presunti tali.

eccolo il qualunquista da bar.... premesso che con 1300 euro al mese una famiglia non campa, al.massimo sopravvive, se dai in mano 15 mln al 95% delle persone che non sono abituate a maneggiare certe cifre se li mangiano in pochissimo tempo, basta vedere chi vince alle lotterie.
E dire che l'aveva scampata bella

Non aveva difeso il suo titolo al Tour raccontando che ad allenarsi si faticava troppo.Da morir dal ridere.
