The final week of the Tour de France, with Paris in sight, and Tadej Pogačar's dominance will be at the center of the twentieth episode of Velo, the Rete8 program entirely dedicated to the world of professional cycling, airing tonight at 21:00 and hosted by Jacopo Forcella.

The double passage over Alpe d'Huez in Friday and Saturday's stages will be recounted by Roberto Conti, winner on the iconic mountain of the Grande Boucle in 1994. The former domestique of Marco Pantani will be the special guest of the evening. Also in the studio are the program's creator, Luciano Rabottini, Eurosport commentator Riccardo Magrini, and another great former professional cyclist like Palmiro Masciarelli.

Ample space will also be dedicated to the 2026 edition of the Giro d'Abruzzo, presented at the Auditorium of Palazzo Silone in L'Aquila. Images and interviews conducted by Enrico Giancarli with the race protagonists will be broadcast, with the event starting on September 22nd.

In the second part of the program, the spotlight will turn to youth cycling with Amici della Bici, a youth category team represented in the studio by Loris Di Lorenzo and a delegation of young athletes, protagonists of a season full of achievements.

Closing the episode will be Luigi Milozzi, who will present the fifth edition of Terrazza d'Abruzzo Fest, the event scheduled in Guardiagrele from today through Sunday. A three-day celebration that will unite sport, music, and cinema in one of Abruzzo's most enchanting villages.
