The LABORAL Kutxa-Euskadi team will race with XDS bicycles in the 2026 season: the official announcement of the agreement was made during an event held at the Asian brand's headquarters in Shenzhen (China) this Saturday. The LABORAL Kutxa-Euskadi manager, Aitor Galdós, cyclist Usoa Ostolaza, and the Fundación Euskadi vice president, Andoni Madariaga, participated in the presentation of the agreement by which XDS will provide its high-end bicycles to the Basque team.
This alliance will allow the team to face the season with full confidence and continue its sporting growth. Additionally, it strengthens XDS's international projection, as LABORAL Kutxa-Euskadi will compete in a top-level calendar with automatic invitation to all 2026 UCI Women's WorldTour races, such as the Tour, Giro, Vuelta, and major classics.
XDS will bring its technological expertise and advanced production capacity, offering bicycles that combine design, innovation, and quality. In particular, the team will race with the X-LAB AD9 bicycle, an aerodynamic high-performance model, marking the first time XDS has equipped a women's team in the world elite.
Since its creation in 2019 together with Fundación Euskadi, LABORAL Kutxa-Euskadi has consolidated itself as a sporting and social reference in the Basque Country, highlighting its commitment to equality and development of Basque talents and territory in cycling. A UCI team since 2021, next year will be its second season as a ProTeam.
Founded in 1995, XDS has established itself as one of the world's leading bicycle manufacturers. Its premium X-LAB brand represents the company's commitment to the most demanding competition standards, enabling cyclists to reach their maximum potential. The union with the Basque team consolidates its international expansion after entering professional cycling with Astana in 2025.
The agreement between Fundación Euskadi, LABORAL Kutxa-Euskadi, and XDS reinforces the commitment to innovation, excellence, sustainability, and the promotion of sport as a driver of social and cultural development.
