Sul traguardo di Vendôme ha preceduto i cinque compagni di fuga e in particolare Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen (Team ColoQuick) t Asbjorn Kragh Andersen (Team Virtu Cycling). Hurel è anche il nuovo leader della classifica generale.
