Italy presents itself at the start with a formation of absolute value, featuring three athletes returning from the recent World Championships in Montreal: Azzurra Ballan, Giorgia Pellizotti and especially Matilde Rossignoli, a brilliant silver medalist in the Canadian world race. Completing the Italian six-woman team will be the Brescia native Elisa Bianchi, the Friuli native Rachele Cafueri and the Modena native Alessia Orsi. A balanced and competitive National team, equipped with various tactical solutions and ready to enter the fight for medals on a course that promises to be spectacular and selective.

The race will feature 95 athletes representing 25 nations, numbers that confirm the high technical level of the event and the importance of a race that promises great battle from the opening kilometers.

Among the main title contenders, the newly crowned world champion Alejandra Neira stands out, leading a particularly competitive Spain that can also count on the support of Luna Jimenez and Lidia Castro De La Serna.

Among the most anticipated nations are also France, which entrusts its ambitions to Thaïs Poirier and Noemie Jurado Roumieux, the Netherlands with Maxime Takken and Imke Menting, and Germany, which fields Edda Bieberle and Amandine Jakob, both credited with a leading role.

Particular attention deserves Swiss rider Anja Grossmann, among the great revelations of the Montreal World Championships, where she won the bronze medal in the road race and fourth place in the time trial. Also worth following with interest is Belgian Laura Fivé and Lithuanian Augustė Audinytė, athletes with the qualities necessary to enter the fight for the podium. Slovenia's hopes rest with Eva Terpin.

The junior women's race will be held over a total distance of 66 kilometers, equivalent to three laps of a 22-kilometer circuit each. A relatively short course but destined to guarantee great competitive intensity from the opening stages, leaving no room for waiting strategies.
