Four athletes from Gallina Lucchini Ecotek Colosio will take part tomorrow, October 3rd, in Il Lombardia U23, the most prestigious international UCI calendar race reserved for the Under 23 category. The team directed by Cesare Turchetti and Milco Benatti will field Stefano Ganini, Michele Bonometti, Luca Franzosi and Jacopo Militello, called to compete with the best of the international scene in a competition of great charm and prestige. For the representatives of the Brescia-based team, a particularly demanding day is in prospect.

The route, which is 177 kilometers long, features numerous altitude difficulties and some of the climbs that are symbolic of Brianza and Lombard cycling, such as the Ghisallo, the Colle Brianza, Villa Vergano and in the closing stages the climb of Marconaga di Ello, destined to launch towards the finish line in Oggiono the race winner.
The team will therefore observe a rest day on Sunday, before returning to racing on Monday, October 5th. On that occasion, only Andrea Buti will defend the colors of Gallina Lucchini Ecotek Colosio in the traditional Trofeo Madonna del Rosario, an event scheduled in Castiglion Fibocchi, in the province of Arezzo.
