Another young athlete is ready to wear the Team ECOTEK Zero24 jersey in the upcoming season. This is Samuele Brustia who in 2027 will join the junior squad of the team presided over by Luigi Braghini.
Samuele Brustia, born in Ivrea (TO) on November 20, 2009 and resident in Ivrea, is one of the most promising junior riders in the Italian cycling landscape. Fresh winner of the Piccola Vuelta del Canavese, Trofeo A. Conterno, Samuele also boasts a victory at the GP Berra Immobilier in Switzerland in the junior category and third-place finishes at the Trofeo Michele Scarponi (stage 2), the GP de Saint Etienne Loire and the Memorial Germano Vittoni.
Brustia started racing at a young age with mountain biking at the age of 6 and then moved to road racing in the G5 and G6 categories. Many victories in youth categories led him to be named Italy's best second-year debutant. He also had a very successful experience among the youth riders with seven victories and several Top 5 finishes before joining Giovani Giussanesi in the junior category.
“I chose Team ECOTEK Zero24” said Samuele Brustia, “because I believe this is a very well-organized, professional and united team, where I am confident I will be able to learn a lot and at the same time receive the best support to arrive in optimal condition for competitions.”
