There are races. And then there is the Tour de France. For over a century, it has represented the greatest stage in cycling: the place where dreams are tested against reality, where suffering and glory often coexist on the same mountain, and where every rider arrives with the hope of becoming part of the history of this sport.
This year, for the first time, Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will take the start in the world's greatest race. To celebrate this historic milestone, the team will tackle the 2026 Tour de France wearing an exclusive Limited Edition, consisting of a special Q36.5 race kit, a dedicated Pinarello DOGMA F livery, and a coordinated ABUS helmet, all created specifically for the team's Tour de France debut.
Born from the desire to showcase the technology and design that characterize the team's technical partners and main sponsors, the project combines cutting-edge innovation with refined visual identity, developed around the shades of Luxter Venice, Tarmac Grey, and Champion Gold, creating one of the most distinctive and technologically advanced looks in the peloton this year.
At the heart of the collection is the new Q36.5 Limited Edition race wear, which expresses the latest innovations of the Italian brand in terms of thermoregulation, aerodynamics, and body-mapped construction. The jersey combines three different fabrics, including ultralight mesh panels designed to maximize ventilation on the hottest days. The Dottore Pro bib shorts integrate Q36.5's proprietary weaving technology, an advanced four-zone body-mapped construction, and the Q LAB Air chamois, offering maximum comfort, stability, and muscle support throughout the three weeks of racing. For the road stages, all riders will also have access to two new evolutions of the Dottore Pro Skinsuit, developed at the Bolzano headquarters and created with innovative next-generation graphene yarn fabrics, to offer the world's best balance between thermoregulation and aerodynamics.
Accompanying the riders' clothing will be an exclusive Pinarello DOGMA F, featuring a special Tour de France livery in Titan and Luxter Venice finishes, enhanced by elegant Champion Gold details. Beneath this exclusive appearance remains the winning platform that has supported the team throughout the season, equipped with SRAM RED AXS groupset, Zipp wheels, Vittoria tires, and Prologo saddle.
Completing the Limited Edition collection is a dedicated ABUS helmet, finished in the same exclusive color palette to create a perfectly integrated visual identity across athlete, bicycle, and equipment. Developed for top-level competition, the helmet combines high aerodynamic performance with ABUS's Forced Air Cooling ventilation system, ensuring maximum efficiency and comfort in the most demanding race on the cycling calendar.
"This is much more than just a special uniform," said Douglas Ryder, Team Principal of Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. "When we started this project, just a few years ago, the Tour de France was an ambitious vision shared by a small group of people convinced that it was possible to do things differently. Today, that vision has become reality. Every partner, every staff member, and every rider has contributed to this journey. Being on the starting line of the Tour wearing this Limited Edition does not represent the final goal, but a further step in building the future of this team. We arrive with humility, ambition, and the determination to honor this race in the only way we know how: by racing with determination, united."
Fausto Pinarello, President of Pinarello, stated: "The new colorways have been carefully studied to give the Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team a refreshed summer look, making it even more recognizable in the world's most important cycling race. The Tour de France represents the ultimate stage for innovation in cycling, and the DOGMA F was born precisely to experience these historic moments. This striking livery perfectly combines our deep racing tradition with modern and bold aesthetics. We are proud to provide the team with a bicycle that is as fast in performance as it is in appearance."
For Luigi Bergamo, founder of Q36.5 and Head of Research and Development, the Tour de France debut represents the culmination of an extraordinary journey. "From the beginning, in 2023, when together with our partners we founded this team with the dream of creating a professional factory team, to the preparation of our first Tour de France less than four years later, the journey has been truly extraordinary. This collection represents not only the highest level of performance we can offer our athletes, but also a visual tribute to one of the most important milestones in the history of our project."
The Limited Edition collection perfectly reflects the identity that has distinguished the Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team from day one: innovation in service of performance, attention to every detail, and constant pursuit of improvement. Because the Tour de France has always been much more than just a race. It is the place where cycling dreams can come to life.
And now, for the first time, it is time for Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team to chase its own dream.
