Everything is ready for Mottolino's new summer season which will officially kick off today with the opening of Larix Park, the adventure park among the trees at Mottolino dedicated to families, children and outdoor activity enthusiasts. From June 13th, the Mottolino Bike Park will be operational with all trails accessible, while from June 19th, Kosmo Taste the Mountain, the bistro located at the base of the lifts, will reopen. The summer season will continue until September 27th.
Numerous innovations will accompany summer 2026, distributed across mountain biking, outdoor activities and services dedicated to staying in the resort. Interventions that involve different points of the Mottolino area and reflect an increasingly integrated vision of the mountain experience. Over the years, Mottolino has expanded and diversified its offerings, creating a true ecosystem capable of connecting sport, dining, entertainment and services, offering a complete experience to bikers, families and visitors.
Mountain biking continues to represent the heart of the resort's summer offerings. One of the main changes will affect the M'eating Point area, located at altitude and accessible via the Mottolino cable car. A reference point for those frequenting the Bike Park during the day, the area hosts spaces dedicated to refreshments, relaxation and services for bikers and families. Here, the new Learn & Flow Area will be created, a space designed for technical learning and mountain bike training. The AirBag, the large air mattress used to safely train on jumps and tricks, will also be relocated here, while next to it will stand a new pump track signed by Mottolino, a circuit with parabolic curves and small bumps designed to improve balance, coordination and bike control even without pedaling.
The area will be dedicated both to those approaching the discipline for the first time and to more experienced bikers interested in perfecting technique, fluidity and bike control. Additionally, balance bikes will also be available for the youngest.
Work continues on the new Blue Velvet, a blue trail designed with slopes and passages more accessible to facilitate entry into the Bike Park for beginners and intermediate-level bikers. The opening of the new red line "Wide Open" is also planned, a new track dedicated to intermediate-advanced level bikers.
During the summer, the Ride & Style Series calendar will return, four events distributed between June and September dedicated to mountain biking and Bike Park life. The first event scheduled will be on June 20th with the SIC SESSION, where the winner will take home a package for two people for the Red Bull Cerro Abajo in Genoa the following weekend, with hotel accommodation and VIP hospitality access for Sunday's race.
On July 18th there will be an event in the Jump Area, the zone reserved for jumps and tricks, and on August 8th the new Learn & Flow Area will be the star, in an event designed in evening format, which will return as the last event of the season on September 12th.
August will feature evening openings. Starting from July 31st and every Friday until August 21st (with the exception of Saturday, August 8th), the Bike Park will remain open until 20:30, with M'eating Point and Rent operating in parallel to accompany evening sessions.
The "One More Lift Challenge" by Mottolino also returns, the lift pass competition for seasonal pass holders that rewards those who accumulate the most lift passages during the summer season.
Alongside the bike offerings, Larix Park is preparing for a new season. Located in the woods just steps from the base of the lifts, the adventure park offers suspended courses among the trees dedicated to children, teenagers and adults.
For summer 2026, an upgrade of the black course is planned, designed to make the tree experience even more dynamic. Larix Park will also have its own evening openings: every Tuesday from July 28th to August 18th, the courses will remain open until 21:00.
An important part of the innovations will finally concern spaces dedicated to staying in the resort, designed to accompany visitors, families and companions throughout the entire day.
At altitude, M'eating Point will continue to be the reference point for those experiencing the Bike Park and outdoor activities. Here, in addition to services dedicated to mountain biking enthusiasts, the children's play area will be expanded, further strengthening the offerings dedicated to families and moments of relaxation between activities.
However, Mottolino's offerings develop across multiple levels of the resort. While M'eating Point welcomes guests at altitude, Kosmo Taste the Mountain represents the meeting point at the base of the cable car, accompanying visitors' experience from arrival through après-bike.
For the 2026 season, Kosmo will present itself with a completely renovated terrace and a space for outdoor grilling, and regarding the gastronomic offerings, in addition to dishes typical of the territory, there will also be a selection of pizzas.
In recent years, Kosmo has become one of the main gathering points of Mottolino's summer, and for the 2026 season, the restaurant will continue to develop a proposal linked to seasonality and local ingredients, maintaining attention to carefully prepared yet simple and convivial dishes.
Among new trails, dedicated practice areas, spaces for families, dining and evening openings, summer 2026 will involve all the different areas of the resort, from the base of the lifts to the high-altitude zones. A further step in Mottolino's development path, which continues to integrate sport, services, hospitality and moments of sociality into a single experience designed to be enjoyed throughout the entire day.
