It was a June 2nd that Andrea Agostini, executive at UAE Emirates XRG, will not easily forget. Yesterday, during a bike ride with a group of friends, Andrea was involved in a serious cycling accident in the Sarsina area, specifically on the descent of Monte Finocchio.

«We had just started the descent - Agostini told tuttobiciweb - when I crashed. My friends immediately called for help, and the air ambulance arrived quickly at the scene and took me to Bufalini Hospital in Cesena for the necessary tests. The CT scan fortunately came back negative, but I unfortunately have to deal with some broken ribs and a head wound that required several stitches. However, the situation is improving, yesterday evening I was able to go back home and in recent hours I've received so many calls and it was nice to feel the solidarity and friendship around me».

Andrea then adds a valuable reflection: «Obviously there was great shock because the impact was violent and I want to send a message; guys, always wear a helmet, in my case it was fundamental. Decisive. Remember: when you go out on your bike, there is nothing more important than a helmet!».
