MENDELSPECK E-WORK TEAM, A RENEWED AND AMBITIOUS ROSTER FOR THE 2026 SEASON

The MENDELSPECK E-WORK Team, a UCI Continental women's formation, officially announces the composition of the squad that will tackle the 2026 competitive season.


The Team has chosen to completely renew the Elite/U23 squad composition, focusing on motivated athletes who are growing and already protagonists in the national and international landscape. The new roster is further enhanced by the arrival of two athletes from WorldTour Teams, who bring experiences gained in high-level international competitions.


Elite/U23 Athletes – 2026 Season
BEZZONE Camilla from Sale delle Langhe (CN) – A sprinter capable of performing on various terrains, she is considered a promising athlete. She has already collected numerous podiums on road and track, in Junior and Open categories, showing significant growth potential.

DEOTTO Eleonora from Sesto al Reghena (PN) – A road cyclist, silver medalist at the 2025 Italian Team Time Trial Championship, has achieved several top 10 finishes in Open races during the 2025 season, confirming herself as a reliable and consistent athlete.

DOLLAKU Nikol from Ravenna – An Italian-Albanian road cyclist, Albanian Junior Champion, finished fifth at the 2025 Balkan Championships in both road race and time trial, distinguishing herself for generosity and collaboration.

GIULIANI Giulia from Corvara (PE) – A fast road cyclist, coming from a WorldTour Team, with which she achieved significant placements at the Tour of Guangxi (China) and the Giro di Toscana. In her career, she has won the Giro delle Marche and numerous national victories and podiums, standing out for regularity and finishing ability. She has also raced in the blue jersey and participated in multiple Giros d'Italia.

MARINETTO Ilaria from Zero Branco (TV) – A road cyclist, on the podium in the Bolzano Open race and author of several top 10 finishes during the 2025 season, represents a growing profile in the Elite/U23 context.

PIGHI Greta from Piacenza – A climber, also active in cyclocross during the winter season, boasts several placements in youth categories and a profile oriented towards development in the most selective races.

PIRRONE Elena from Laives (BZ) – A strong all-around athlete from a WorldTour team, she excels in challenging races and time trials. She boasts an outstanding palmares: Junior World Champion in time trial and road race, European Time Trial Champion, World Championship bronze in individual pursuit in the same year, plus two bronzes in U23 European Time Trial Championships. Winner of the Stuttgart Grand Prix and Giro di Campania, bronze at the 2024 Elite Italian Time Trial Championships, she has often been a protagonist in WorldTour and international races, with several top 5 and top 10 placements and various national team call-ups and participations in Giro, Tour, and Vuelta.

SEGALA Sara from Bovolone (VR) – A road cyclist with a strong cyclocross background, in which she has won podiums and significant placements, demonstrating great versatility and adaptability. Her role within the team will certainly be important.

SERENA Giorgia from Bagnaria Arsa (UD) – A road cyclist with international experience, she is a U23 National Track Team athlete, with participations in European Championships in individual and team pursuit. On road and in time trials, she has obtained various podiums in national competitions, confirming herself as a serious and reliable athlete.

Parallel to the renewal of the Elite/U23 squad, the MENDELSPECK E-WORK Team confirms the continuity of the Women Junior development project, which will continue along the path of work done in previous seasons, with the goal of ensuring technical growth, training, and progressive accompaniment of young athletes towards higher categories:

Women Junior Team – all second-year athletes – 2026 Season

GRITTI Ilaria from Verdello (BG) – Confirmed after a positive season, during which she showed technical growth and performance continuity.

PIRRONE Silvia from Laives (BZ) – Confirmed within the development project, a promising athlete inserted in a path of progressive training and growth.

SANTELLA Giulia from Mantova – New addition for 2026, a motivated and versatile athlete with road cyclist characteristics.

Team Manager Renato Pirrone stated: "We have completely renewed the Elite/U23 squad, inserting athletes with WorldTour experiences and significant palmares, from whom we expect important results, and other young athletes with interesting profiles, motivated and ambitious to perform well and mature further experiences even at the international level. At the same time, we will maintain continuity and stability in the Junior sector, as the Team's development squad. All this was possible thanks to the loyalty and reliability of the sponsor pool that continues to be by our side supporting the project, whom we thank."

The MENDELSPECK E-WORK Team will face the 2026 season with a national and international program that will include stage races, line races, and UCI calendar classics, with participation in races abroad. The team's debut is scheduled for mid-February at the International Mugello Racetrack.
