Every year, in Florence alone, approximately 1,800 stolen or abandoned bicycles end up in the municipal depot. Thanks to the Piedelibero project, which directly involves inmates from Florence prison, many of these bicycles find a new life.

It is in this context that Second Chance is born, the project through which Selle Royal has been supporting Piedelibero for over a year and a half. The company supports the cooperative by providing hundreds of saddles with minor production defects, components that cannot be marketed, but which maintain their full functionality.
