The new year started with an important victory for Giosuè Epis, who married his beloved Giulia. The rider, part of Arkéa B&B Hotels in 2025 and set to debut this season with the Mexican Petrolike after the closure of the transalpine team, got married yesterday morning in the church of San Zenone in Scarpizzolo di San Paolo (Brescia).

Participants, including many figures from the cycling world, describe a beautiful day where the warmth of friends and family protected the newlyweds from the cold, with a fun celebration continuing at the Fenilgrande agriturismo in Barbariga.

Cycling was the dominant theme: the groom arrived at the church in a team car, the tableaux de mariage was created with wheel rims, and each table was identified by a different bike brand. The newlyweds' table? Bianchi.
