A great victory for Matteo Fiorin in Slovenia. Competing with the Italian National Track Team at the I Feel Slovenia-Novo Mesto International Grand Prix for elite riders, the Brianza cyclist, who will ride for Solme Olmo next year, won the Elimination Race, beating local hero Zak Erzen of Bahrain Victorious, while another Italian, Eros Sporzon, finished in third place. Fiorin also mounted the podium in the Omnium, completing the event in second position behind Danish rider Mamlberg.

Notable was the presence at this Meeting of young track cyclists from Monselice, Ju Green Gorla Minore, Asd Sacilese, Ciclistica Pieris, Acd Valvasone, and GS Cicli Fiorin from Baruccana di Seveso.
