Samuele Zoccarato will be a new rider for the MBH Ballan CSB Colpack team and joins the 2026 roster, which has already been largely revealed.

The powerful rider from San Giorgio delle Pertiche, in the province of Padua, born on January 9, 1998, standing 1.83m tall, comes off a good season that saw him win the Tour de la Mirabelle and finish 2nd in the queen stage of the Tour of Slovenia. Zoccarato has demonstrated his versatility by also winning the Italian Gravel Championship in 2024. Among his notable results is the 3rd place at the 2021 Italian Championships in Imola, behind Sonny Colbrelli and Fausto Masnada, at the end of a race where he impressed with his generosity.

It's up to the Padua native to speak about his 2026 signing: "I'm happy to return to a team where I was comfortable and where I believe I will do excellently in 2026. I left this environment five years ago with a good memory".

His approach to the new Professional team group occurred during the first workshop at the end of October: "The management is doing everything possible to support us in the best way. I saw an already cohesive team, there are many new additions, with many young professionals and experienced riders ready to take on responsibilities".

His personal ambitions: "I hope to contribute both in terms of results and by making myself available to young riders. I would like to play my chances not just by going in breakaways. There's this competition between teams for the top 30 in the world ranking, so we'll work towards the UCI points objective".

Antonio Bevilacqua, representing the team, speaks about the new arrival: "We are happy to have Samuele back. An athlete we know well and who turned professional partly thanks to us. Sometimes destinies intersect and we had no doubts about giving him another opportunity. We believe that, through experience and quality, he is an athlete who should think about a new direction in his career, with fewer long-distance attacks. He has the potential to achieve individual results".
