
The Basilicata regional FCI team is ready to compete in the Italian Road Cycling Championships for novice and junior riders, which will be held in Gorizia on Sunday, July 6th. The Lucanian selection will be protagonists in this prestigious competition that attracts the best Italian athletes of the moment. Under the direction of the regional technical structure manager Prospero Di Dio, the participants include Paolo Signa (Team Alto Bradano), Leonardo De Rubeis (Ciclo Team Valnoce) among first-year novices, Giuseppe Manicone (Team Alto Bradano) among second-year novices, Felice Carlomagno (Ciclo Team Valnoce), Francesco Pace (Team Alto Bradano), Vincenzo Mecca (Team Alto Bradano) among juniors. Reserves include Carmelo Romano and Marco Capolupo (Team Alto Bradano). On Sunday, July 6th, the races will start with first-year novices at 09:00, second-year novices at 11:00, and juniors at 15:00. The race will be broadcast live on the Libertas Ceresetto Facebook Page and the Toscana Sprint YouTube channel.
RUOTI - Organized by Motostaffette Potenza, another Cycling Game event open to everyone, including non-licensed riders. On Saturday, July 5th, the "Cycling Game on Equal Terms" event is scheduled, featuring a 600-meter gymkhana in Ruoti, in the Marana district, with gathering at 16:00 and start at 17:00. This is a commendable initiative to stimulate cycling passion among young children.
