
The renewed green Lloyds jersey for the leader of the Tour of Britain Women (a World Tour women's race) has been officially unveiled, created like last year by the prestigious Verona-based brand Alé: the design highlights the characteristic green palette of the English bank sponsoring the event, along with the iconic black Cancara horse. The jersey will be awarded for the first time at the end of the opening stage in Redcar, when the race to succeed Lotte Kopecky in the event's roll of honor begins in North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley. On this occasion, the other three distinctive jerseys were also presented. Among the 9 mountain passes on the route, the blue jersey will be up for grabs, won in 2024 by a great local athlete like Lizzie Deignan, while the red jersey will go to the rider who accumulates the most points from intermediate sprints and finishes. Finally, the white jersey for the best young rider: among previous winners, Demi Vollering in 2019 and Hannah Barnes twice (2015 and 2017).
