A red tide and a Varese excellence with a cycling soul for an event that made all of Italy talk. The Ferrari Prancing Horse and the Biscione, symbol of Milan. The Sforza Castle as a backdrop to the presentation of the cars and drivers of the Maranello team ahead of the season that will open on Sunday 16th in Australia. With the event's health security system directed by Dr. Alessandro Geddo, head of the Operational Unit of Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy at the Iseni Group Healthcare Institutes in Lonate Pozzolo.
The first aid point at the Ferrari event, the healthcare headquarters of today's event (Thursday, March 6th), created in collaboration with Rescue Live, was managed by the medical expertise of the Iseni Healthcare Group and was directed by Dr. Geddo.
The head physician of the Operational Unit - led by President Fabrizio Iseni - boasts significant experience in healthcare assistance for major events as the responsible for events, not only sporting, at San Siro. And it was Geddo himself who explained how the medical staff operates during an event of this scale. Consider that at the Ferrari Team presentation at Sforza Castle, there were at least 30 thousand people, positioned in front of the massive red Ferrari stage and along the track created between the castle and Cadorna Square, where the two red cars driven by Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton paraded.
Geddo explained the organization of the medical staff deployed at multiple points to "cover" the extensive area and then illustrated the equipment found in the facility set up where both the logistical phase (when the emergency system is alerted) and the operational phase that then handles direct patient assistance are managed.
