CASTELLI 24H. REGISTRATIONS SOLD OUT, WAITING LIST OPENS

90 teams are officially registered for the marathon on the upcoming 6-7 June 2025 in Feltre (Belluno). The official waiting list is now open, meaning that interested teams can submit their registration form to the secretariat and, if a spot becomes available among the 90 teams due to a withdrawal (which naturally happens every year), teams on the list will be inserted strictly in chronological order.
"We are very happy with this unexpected result" – explains Ivan Piol, chairman of the organizing committee – "we did not expect to reach the maximum quota in 14 days, so much so that given the participation requests, we decided not to open individual category registrations in February, at least for this year. Over 20 years of experience with the 24 hours has made us understand that this is the ideal number of cyclists who can be in the change zone and within the circuit. This result definitely rewards the great work done in recent years. Knowing exactly how many teams will be present in June allows us to best study all logistical and organizational details. And there will be no shortage of surprises for participants and the public!".
THE CURIOSITY. Among the teams at the start will also be that of the Italian downhill skier Mattia Casse (in the attached photo on the pedals in the 24h 2024-ed) who is competing in the World Cup and who in Val Gardena made Italians dream with his splendid SuperG victory (today 5th in Bormio-ed). In Feltre he will climb on a bicycle with his friends to support the initiative "600 beats for the Tin", the neonatal intensive care unit of the Bergamo hospital, where he lives.
CASTELLI24H. The 24 hours is an open cycling marathon for teams that relay ride on a city circuit of about 1,850m created in the heart of Feltre and completely closed to traffic.
The 90 teams come 33% from provinces outside the Veneto region (including Viterbo, Varese, Milan, Arezzo, Sondrio Bergamo and from nearby Trentino and Friuli), 33% from Veneto (Padua the most represented province followed by Treviso, Vicenza, Venice and Rovigo) and 33% from the province of Belluno. There are also two teams registered from France while some teams include athletes from Austria, Germany, Spain, Great Britain and Northern Europe). Info at www.24orefeltre.it
